The Tournament - First Monday in August

The tournament was named in memory of Jay Jacupke, CPCU, who was associated with Ellerbrock-Norris Agency in Hastings. Jay served in many association capacities, including Secretary-Treasurer in 1995. Jay lost his heroic battle with cancer in 1996 at the age of 44.

It is fitting that the tournament location is now Lochland Country Club in Jay’s hometown!  It is traditionally held on the first Monday in August.

The Benefits of Participation

Participation, either as a golfer, company hole-sponsor or as a donor to the IIAN Foundation, ensures the continued success of the scholarship programs which have benefited Nebraska students for over 20 years.   Over $60,000 in scholarships has been awarded to date.

The IIAN Foundation’s scholarship programs include: the Curtis M. Elliott Scholarship for college sophomores, the Chet Linder, IIA of Lincoln, IIA of Omaha, and Jay Jacupke Scholarships for high school seniors, and the InVEST Scholarships for high school and community college students.
