| WEST DES MOINES, IA - IMT Insurance was honored to participate in Giving Tuesday on Nov. 28. Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of a unique blend of partners – charities, families, businesses, and individuals – to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Giving Tuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
IMT strives to support local communities, throughout its six-state writing territory, in an impactful way. On Tuesday, Nov. 28, one $2,500 donation was pledged every hour from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., for a total of $20,000!
The following organizations each received $2,500 as part of IMT's Giving Tuesday participation: Southeast Nebraska CASA (Seward, NE), Thornton Volunteer Fire Association (Thornton, IA), Kossuth County Loving Hands Nursery (Algona, IA), Crossroads Cultural Connection (Cambridge, IL), Lake Norden Fire Department (Lake Norden, SD), Lincoln County VFW Post 2980 (Ivanhoe, MN), Mission Nutrition DeForest Inc. (DeForest, WI), and the Jackson Police Department K9 Unit Fund (Jackson, WI).
IMT was pleased to have several agencies join them in presenting donations on Giving Tuesday.
