We are excited to provide three highly relevant topics in free* classes for our members! “Gear up Against Violence, Viruses and Hackers” with these three topics: - “Recognize. Respond. Survive. Active Shooter Response Training”: 2 CE, presented by Andy Sexton and Chad Ayers of Proactive Response Group
- “Cybersecurity Risk and Insurance Are...”: 1 CE, presented by Richard Pitts
- “COVID-19 Litigation and Insurance Issues”: 1 CE, presented by Richard Pitts
The presenters will be available in the forum during each of the sessions so feel free to interact with them; agents from across the country will be participating in these programs. There are lots of prizes and giveaways in store as well!
IIAN to host its own Free CE Day
We are happy to announce another opportunity for you to earn free* CE! On Sept. 21, three Ethics CE credits are available for the online-only course "Ethics in the Insurance Industry." You can choose to attend the virtual class at either 9 a.m. or 1 p.m.
Presented by Terry Tadlock, CIC, CPCU, CRIS, this course will review of the foundations of ethical behavior, including terms and definitions, ethical vs. legal behavior, ethical considerations for insurance agents. It will also review the steps agencies can take as an organization to eliminate many of the causes before they take place.
