Sharpen Your Edge in 2022 with CISR!

Sharpen your edge and stand out from the crowd by becoming a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)!  With a brand new year on the horizon, there's no better time than now to take your career to the next level – while earning high-quality CE.

We've got a new set of CISR courses planned for the coming year, most available in-person and via live webinar. Click here to view our 2022 class schedule, with links to register for each course.

The CISR program trains new agents and CSRs to better understand and analyze risks and exposures. Achieving this designation empowers outstanding individuals to provide exceptional account management and customer service.

KatieShipp.jpg“Having the CISR designation shows my clients that I'm a professional who is dedicated to her industry," said Katie Shipp, CISR, CAWC, of Dodge Partners in Omaha. “With every CISR class that I take, I deepen my knowledge of coverages and how they are applied. As a bonus, CISR classes are an excellent way to obtain high caliber CE each year!"

To earn the CISR designation, you must attend class and pass exams for five of the nine courses within three years. To retain the designation, simply attend one of the courses (no exam required) each year after that.

If you attend all nine classes within three years, you can earn a distinguished "CISR Elite" designation. The CISR Elite designation shows that you've gone the extra mile for professional growth, demonstrates your commitment to serving clients and adds value to your agency.

For Amy Hruska, API, AIS, AINS, CISR Elite, of Arthur J. Gallagher in Omaha, education is at the forefront of every transaction she does for her clients.

Amy Hruska.jpg“The CISR program has provided me with the tools I need pertaining to coverage, agency procedures, etc., to be able to perform my job with expertise," Hruska said. “My dedication to the CISR program has shown my clients that I care about keeping up with industry changes and new coverages."

She earned her CISR Elite designation this year and was one of several designees recognized at IIAN's CISR conferment ceremony in October.

“Whether you are new to the insurance industry or have been working in the field for several years, the CISR program offers something for everyone," Hruska said. “The program is designed to fit your individual career path, whether that be commercial lines or personal lines."
