Eight Producers Complete 2021-22 Elite Force Sales Academy

EliteForceSalesAcademy-GroupPhotoforSocial.jpgCongratulations to this great group of guys on completing Elite Force Sales Academy! This week wraps up their year-long journey of becoming more well-rounded insurance producers.

The students include Kyle Bacus of Chastain-Otis in Omaha, Kelly Brink of Dodge Partners in Omaha, Zach Fuller of Adams Insurance Advisors in Ogallala, Justin Happold of Cornerstone Insurance in Aurora, Michael Krist of Krist Insurance in West Des Moines, Iowa, Jake Robinson of Bridgemark Insurance Solutions in Pender, Luke Robinson of Bridgemark Insurance Solutions in Omaha, Thomas Suhr of Suhr & Lichty Insurance in Seward.

The fourth and final quarter of the class was taught by Katie Kochenower, CIC, CRM, AIP, Big “I” Nebraska Director of Education.

This week, the students learned about the consultative sales cycle, how to define their unique brand, techniques on closing a sale and more. They’ve had reading and production goals throughout the entire course, which began last November, all while networking and sharing personal experiences with each other.

“The diversity of thoughts, ideas and experiences have opened up my mind to possibilities and other things that I can apply in my daily life in insurance,” Krist said.

The small class size and one-on-one mentorship has allowed them to gain a better understanding of sales tactics while forming strong relationships with fellow agents from across the state.

“It really helped me think of the bigger picture,” Fuller said. “When I first took the job, it was just a sales position, but now I better understand all of the pieces that go into insurance.”

The students say the class helped them get out of their comfort zone, build self-confidence and improve their time management skills.

“There’s not many opportunities that include a full year of training. It’s usually like a three-day course, then you’re on your own,” Brink said. “This class holds you a little bit more responsible. You want to do well, they all see [your sales reports], and you want to have something to report back on each time you come in for your sessions.”

The Associate in Insurance Production (AIP) designation will be conferred upon students who complete the course and reporting requirements. We can't wait to see what they'll accomplish at their agencies!

The next cohort of Elite Force Sales Academy will begin classes in January 2023. Registration is coming soon!
