Big “I” Nebraska and the IIAN Foundation are proud to announce the most recent winners of our Insurance Professional Scholarships!

Brisa will pursue the Certified Insurance Service Representaive (CISR) designation with the scholarship.
"I believe strong customer service skills is essential for an insurance agent to be successful and this course can be beneficial," Brisa wrote in her application essay. "Insurance to me is important and I want to be able to speak with customers with full confidence and to be of aid in trying to protect their family, assets/property and themselves from financial risk/loss."
Justin began his insurance career in 2018, and at the beginning of 2023, became the owner of Beef State Agency.
He is enrolled in Goalmakers' IA-MBA program this fall. The 10-week virtual program will equip Justin with proven organizational leadership techniques, improve his financial acumen, empower his team, identify ideal customers, streamline operations and more.
Justin wrote in his essay that he had been searching online for a reputable business coach to help him define and achieve his business goals. Eventually, he found that Big "I" Nebraska offering the IA-MBA program was the sign he was looking for.
"By becoming a more effective leader and understanding my business better, my agency will be a better atmosphere for employees to grow and succeed in their own career and personal goals, which also leads to better service for our customers and community," Justin said.
