The Big I Nebraska Insurance and Business Skills Basics Curriculum is an ideal learning experience for new staff or role changers within your organization. It will get you up and running with the basics fast! 

It is designed to provide an introduction to the insurance industry with topics including key insurance terms, core functions of insurance carriers, distribution channels, and foundational elements of the property/casualty insurance business while addressing Errors and Omissions reduction. The curriculum also covers General Business Skills such as professional communication methods, balancing priorities, and time management along with Customer Management Best Practices including how to anticipate client needs, build relationships, and manage conflict.

Students access the self-paced, engaging, action-oriented eLearning modules on demand. Each eLearning module includes audio, video, and other interactive visual elements along with written content. Courses are approximately 25-30 minutes in learning length and include 'knowledge checkpoints' to support concept acquisition and retention.  There are final assessments in each course with graded questions in each course requiring a 75% passing rate to register as complete.  Every course is monitored, stored and reported upon within a learning management system.
